Civil Project Engineer (Tailings Dam Project)
Experience Required
Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of five year experience specifically delivering civil works for mining
tailings storage facility (TSF) or tailings dam projects, including construction, raising, rehabilitation, or
sustaining capital works. Experience should include contractor management, earthworks, water management
systems, quality assurance, and working within operational mining environments.
Location
Site Based, Remote NT Mine Site
FIFO 15 working days, 13 rest days roster, 12 hour days
Start Date ASAP - 4 months work with potential beyond that
Position Summary
The Civil Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of tailings
storage facility (TSF) and associated infrastructure projects, ensuring all works are completed safely, on
schedule, within budget, and in compliance with Glencore standards, regulatory requirements, and industry
best practices.
Working closely with operations, engineering consultants, contractors, and technical stakeholders, the Civil
Project Engineer will oversee construction activities, manage project interfaces, and support the delivery of
critical tailings infrastructure while maintaining the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship,
and quality.
